Your tasks:
 Develop an innovative conception, architecture and implementation of data management software with scalable
backends, RESTful APIs and customer facing front-ends in the Azure cloud Collaborate with cross-functional teams
to analyze and solve complex problems
 Engage in decisions ranging from UX Design to Backend architecture together with the Product owner, development
team and end users
 Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
 Ensure the responsiveness of applications and high-quality user experience
 Implement security and data protection measures
 Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
 Write and maintain technical documentation
 Setup a CI / CD system based on the current state of the art
 Working in an accurate (clean-code) and test-driven DEVOPS Software Development
 In close cooperation with Data Management experts, you implement the functionality based on use cases (e.g. data
cataloging, data quality, data integration)
Your profile:
 An excellent university degree (MSc/PhD) in information technology, computer science, natural sciences, or similar
training
 5+ years of experience in writing, compiling, testing, documenting and releasing frontend and backend code in
Javascript/Typescript & Python (additional languages are a plus)
 Strong Experience with database – storage systems, query languages & scalable data processing (SQL, No-SQL, Spark,
etc) and interfacing databases through e.g., REST
 Experience with exposing API services and publishing them in a sync / async way; using different gateways and service
buses for service communication
 Experience with Cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure (e.g., Synapse, Databricks, Azure DevOps)
 Nice-2-have: previous experience in developing data and metadata manipulation software
